This is the chart of Stephen Chow who was the undisputed number one comedian actor of the Hong Kong film industry. He was born on the 22nd of June in 1962. He shot into fame in the 1990s and together with his older sidekick Ng Man-tat, they were then the most sought-after actors of the Hong Kong film industry. Stephen Chow ranked alongside Chow Yun-fat and Jackie Chan as the major box office draw of the 1990s.

He has won many awards besides making lots of money. In 2001, his film Shaolin Soccer grossed over 60 million HK dollars. This film won the best picture award and Stephen Chow also won the best actor and best director awards. Believe it or not, in 2004, his film Kung Fu Hustle won a total of 18 awards.

This chart is a weak xin DM. I have chosen the best hour pillar for him which is ji-chou. It is very favorable when a weak DM has strongly rooted resource stars which are also his Useful God. The resource stars also give him the ideas to create the action comedy. Since he has strong and positive resource and officer stars protruding in the stems, his wealth stars are also positive. For this kind of chart, the only negative star is the water, output star. So, this is a very favorable chart and on top of that, he has been cruising through many positive LPs. All the protruding fire, earth and metal LPs are positive. He is presently in the xin-hai LP. 

I'm still looking forward to seeing him in more action comedy. A few good laughs can definitely help us ease the tensions of our everyday life.

This is the chart of Steven Gerard who is the captain of Liverpool Football Club in England and also the captain of the England football team. Steven Gerard was born on the 30th of May 1980. He is a very good football player and has scored many fantastic goals and won many trophies in his illustrious football career.

I have chosen the wei hour as his time of birth to give him the leadership in the field. This is a weak gui DM. With positive resource and officer stars protruding, the wealth star is also positive. The only negative star in this kind of chart is the wood, output star. The strongly rooted metal, resource stars make him a football idol with worldwide fans. The strongly rooted earth, officer stars give him the captaincy at the club and the international level. With the positive fire, wealth star in the month earthly branch, Steven Gerard was born in the door of wealth. He is a very rich man, earning much of his income from his salary, bonuses and sponsorship. 

Why is 2014, jia-wu year not a very good year for him?

Those who learnt ZiPing bazi will know that he is still in the jia-shen LP. In this LP, jia and ji combine and jia transforms into positive earth with the support of si month earthly branch. So, this is not a bad LP at all. However, in this jia-wu year, another jia appears and fights to combine with the ji which causes the combination to break. Thus, we now have two negative jia's protruding and these give him a spell of bad luck.

Case 1

Liverpool was leading the Barclays Premier League table towards the end of April and in a crucial home match against Chelsea on the 27th of April, Steven Gerard missed a simple pass from a fellow defender and slipped, allowing Chelsea to score a goal. Liverpool ended up losing 0 - 2. This was the turning point as not long after that, Manchester City overtook them and took the title.

Case 2

In the current Fifa Football World Cup in Brazil, England was sent packing after losing their second match 2 - 1 to Uruguay. The game was tied at 1 -1 when Steven Gerard accidentally headed the ball backwards and it reached the Uruguay's forward Luis Suarez who scored the winner for Uruguay. England had earlier lost to Italy to a similar scoreline.

This is the chart of a lawyer friend of mine who was born on the 14th of February in 1956. He has just recently passed away from a severe stroke while playing golf.

This is a weak xin DM. Without any resource earth stars in the stems, the fire stars are negative. In the present LP, there are triple bing-shen negative fu-yins. Negative fu-yins are sad events while positive fu-yins are joyous ones. Fu-yins also amplify the energy of the fu-yin stems which in this case are the fire stars. In this 2014 jia-wu year, the jia wood further strengthens the already very strong fire stars and all the fire stars also take roots in the wu fire horse.

Fire stars rule the heart and blood. People with strong negative fire stars are prone to hypertension and high blood pressure of a dangerous level. When I read with him last year, I told him to watch out for his blood pressure. He admitted that he was having high blood pressure and was on medication. Looks like medication alone is not sufficient when you have triple negative fu-yins. You need to monitor it more closely and also make sure that the medicinal dosage is right.

This is the chart of Jackie Chan, a very well known and famous Hong Kong superstar. He is one of my favorite actors and I really enjoyed all of his films. He was born on the 7th of April 1954. He was famous for his acrobatic fighting style and action comedy. He also performed all of his films' stunts.

This is a weak gui DM. Since Jackie Chan is very successful and rich, I have chosen gui-hai as his hour pillar. A weak DM harnesses wealth through self stars and the self stars also represent his support, noblemen and fans. As you can see, he was very successful during the metal and water protruding LPs. A weak DM wants the resource and self stars.

Jackie Chan has performed many stunts for many of his films and he was injured many times doing all these stunts. Sometimes, the injuries can be quite bad and he almost lost his life when he fell from a tree and fractured his skull when doing a stunt in the film entitled Armour of God. His stunts' injuries include breaking his fingers, toes, nose, both cheekbones, hips, sternum, neck, ankle and ribs. All these injuries come from his negative output, jia which is his negative HO. This negative HO star makes him always wanting to try some crazy stunts which can be dangerous. He has now entered his negative jia-xu LP and any more stunts during this LP, especially, this jia-wu year can be more than just injuries. This jia-wu year forms a negative fu-yin with his year pillar. So, "Mr Jackie Chan, no more stunts, please".

For a water DM, the fire stars also represent his "wives" while the earth stars represent his children. So, inside si snake, the bing fire represents his wife, Lin Feng-jiao and the wu earth represents his son, Jaycee Chan, who was born in 1982. It is fated that Jackie Chan will have another lady in his life. Inside wu horse, the ding fire represents Elaine Ng and the ji earth represents his daughter who was born and revealed in 1999, which is ji-mao year. Fated?

This is one of the most interesting charts that I have ever seen but it is also one of the most unfortunate ones. This is the chart of Princess Diana who was born on the 1st of July 1961 and she unfortunately passed away in a car accident on the 31st of August 1997.

This is a fake follower chart because there is only 1 self star supporting without the presence of any resource star. A fake follower chart wants to be weaken further and so all the stars in her chart are positive except for the self star, jia. However, the xu-wei-chou punishment and chou-wu harm gave rise to her problems which I don't intend to discuss here.

The downside of a fake follower chart is that the structure can be broken when meeting with the resource star. In this case, meeting with the water stars can cause the structure to break especially when there is no protruding earth star to control the water stars.  So, this chart became vulnerable in the ding-you LP because the bing-xin can transform into water stars with the support of the you rooster earthly branch. If we do not want a negative transformation to occur, we must not activate the earthly branch that supports the transformation. In her case, she activated the you rooster because inside the you rooster is another "boyfriend" star. For those who learnt the ZiPing bazi, you will know that she was still in her ding-you LP in 1997.

A fake follower chart is treated as a strong chart. So, as a general rule, the output fire star is the Useful God. The bing-xin transformation was very bad because not only water stars were formed, but the Useful God, bing also disappeared. In the bing-shen LP, the bing-xin cannot transform because there were 2 bings fighting to combine with the xin.

Princess Diana was officially divorced on the 28th of August 1996. So, in 1997, the xin of the year stem represented her new boyfriend, Dodi Fayed. As you can see, the 2 dings, one from the LP and the other from the AP, doubly countered the xin and caused it to fall into the storage of chou. There was no protruding earth star to arbitrate the fire-metal clashes. So, Dodi did not survive the crash either. 

This is the chart of a very good friend of mine who was born on 7th of August 1962. He was diagnosed with nose cancer in 2007, ding-hai year during the ren-zi LP. He passed away last Tuesday in this jia-wu year during his gui-chou LP after fighting cancer for almost 7 years. Nose problem is the problem of the negative jia.

Earth clashes in the month and day earthly branches can give rise to serious health issues if the chart is ill balanced. Remember, only if the chart is out of balance!

This is a strong ding fire DM. A strong fire DM doesn't want the resource wood star to protrude. With the jia wood protruding, the ren water also becomes negative. All the protruding ding fire, jia wood and ren water are negative. So, the wei-chou clash releases all the negative stars making the chart very ill balanced.

The protruding jia wood also causes the water protruding ren-zi and gui-chou LPs to be negative. During the present gui-chou LP, the chou doubles the clash on wei and releases even more negative fire, wood and water stars, giving him no chance of recuperation.

Actually, this friend of mine passed away in a temple in Thailand and the Temple authorities allowed his coffin to be placed in the premise while waiting to be cremated. The monks even chanted for him and this is indeed an honor for him. During his youth, he had always given his strong support to many welfare projects. With these merits and his kindness, I'm sure he will have a splendid afterlife. 

My bazi students have requested me to post more charts on the Hong Kong stars. Here is the second one after Andy Lau's chart.

This is the chart of Leslie Cheung who was born on the 12th of September 1956. He was a singer-songwriter, actor, film director, record producer and screenwriter. He had been a teen heartthrob and pop icon in the 80's and was one of the most popular performers in Asia. He had won many awards and recognition both from his singing and acting.

Unfortunately, on the 1st of April 2003, he committed suicide by leaping off from the 24th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in the central district of Hong Kong due to depression. His suicide note was

"Depression! Many thanks to all my friends. Many thanks to Professor Felice Lieh-mak. This year has been so tough. I can't stand it anymore. Many thanks to Mr Tong. Many thanks to my family. Many thanks to Sister Fei. In my life, I have done nothing bad. Why does it have to be like this?"

Depression is the problem of the mind which is ruled by the water stars and so I have chosen ren-zi as the hour pillar. With this, the ren DM is strong and so all the water stars are negative. Since gui inside zi is negative, it becomes the "demon" that caused the depression. From his bazi, his problem could have started in 2001, xin-si year during the xin-chou LP when the 2 xin's doubly combined with the bing, transforming into water stars supported by the you autumn season. Shen-si also transformed into water stars. It is the beginning of his depression problem with very strong presence of water energies in his chart. 

In the following year which is 2002, ren-wu year, the ren-wu formed a fu-yin with the day pillar which also amplified the protruding water stars. He actually attempted suicide in 2002 but survived.

He then entered the water protruding ren-yin LP in 2003 which was the gui-wei year. This time, the negative "demon" gui protruded and it proved too much for him.The zi-wei confusion harm added more confusion to his already deluded mind and caused his depression to reach the peak in 2003.

 As a general rule, for a strong water DM, his Useful God are the output wood stars. In the ren-yin LP, the shen clashed away the yin which contains his Useful God, jia. Again and again, when the Useful God is clashed or combined away, it can be fatal.

Below is the bazi when he decided to take his life.

It was reported that he took the leap at 6.43 pm. As you can see, another "demon" gui appeared and overwhelmed him in his final hour.

I have successfully counselled people with suicidal depression into full recovery without any medication and the key points are to know

1. that you are not alone,
2. why you are having the depression or "demon" test and
3. how to overcome the "demon" and pass the test.

This is the chart of Jan Koum who co-founded WhatsApp with Brian Acton. Jan Koum was born in Ukraine on the 24th of February 1976 but moved to California in 1992 at.the age of 16. WhatsApp was incorporated in California on the 24th of February 2009 on his 33rd birthday and in February 2014, WhatsApp was acquired by Facebook for a whopping amount of USD19 billion. This made Jan Koum an instant billionaire and it was reported that his present net worth is USD6.8 billion.

This is an example where a DM born in a supporting month can still be weak as taught in ZiPing bazi using the 3 criteria. There are 6 possible hour pillars that will qualify this bing DM as a weak DM. They are wu-zi, ji-chou, ren-chen, wu-xu, ji-hai and geng-zi. I have chosen ren-chen because ren-chen is a fui-kong pillar which gives him the fighting spirit.

Remember that a weak DM harnesses wealth through the self stars. He has a bing fire in the year stem strongly rooted in the wu fire horse of the day earthly branch. Since this other bing is at the year stem which represents the "outside", moving away from home was a good decision. This positive bing at the year stem also represents his partner, Brian Acton.

His earlier LPs with the protruding metal and water stars are all negative. As a young boy, his mother was a babysitter and he himself worked as a cleaner in a grocery.His breakthrough came in this present favorable jia-wu LP as his positive jia wood resource star protrudes. In 2014, the jia-wu AP forms a positive fu-yin with the jia-wu LP and amplifies his favorable resource wood star and gives him the great success many can only dream of.

This is the chart of a man born in 1986 and his father died in 1989 when he was only 3 years old. For a xin DM, his father is represented by the yi wood. In his natal chart, the xin counters the yi and the yi was waiting to fall into the storage of wei. His father was most vulnerable in the first LP of xin-mao since another xin appeared and did the double whammy on the yi.

If this kind of chart appeared in the olden days, the baby will probably be given away. At the least, they will find a godfather for the baby so that the father will not receive the full impact of the countering.

In the C-section, a bazi master must make sure that the father and mother stars are not countered. Sometimes, the countering can occur in the sub qi.

This is the chart of a boy born in 1992 and he had pass away in an accident in 2009 when he was only 17 years old. His DM is weak wu earth and so the protruding gui is negative. In the gui-chou LP, another negative gui appeared and also formed a negative gui-chou fu-yin with the hour pillar. Negative fu-yin often brought about sad events and negative gui is responsible for many sudden deaths from accidents.

Why did it happen in 2009, ji-chou year?

In 2009, there were 3 sets of hai-chou which pulled in the zi's with the help of the 2 protruding gui's, thus strengthening further the negative gui's.

His mother's chart is a gui water DM and so her children stars are the wood stars. There are 2 yi's wood in the graveyards of the 2 chen's which means potentially she can lose 2 of her children. When I told her about this, she admitted that she indeed had a miscarriage of a baby boy.

Again, why did she lose her second son in 2009, ji-chou year?

The ji combined away the second jia which represents her second son since her first son had earlier been combined away in the miscarriage. 

I did not ask her when the miscarriage occurred. Which year in the late eighties do you think is the most likely year?
