I wish to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt condolences to all the family members of Mr Marcus Chua and also to thank them for letting me share his bazi chart for our learning purposes. I have known some of his family members for more than 20 years. Marcus Chua has passed on after a car accident in the early hours of 1st August, 2013.

This is a weak bing DM born at the end of spring and so the 2 gui's inside the 2 zi's are negative. I have often read the negative gui's as the negative "yin forces" which can affect our mental health causing depression and also bringing about accidents. The gui's were revealed in the gui-wei LP which began in 2003, gui-wei year and ends in 2013, gui-si year.

When I initially read his chart, I told his nephew that his first "hurdle" was in 2003, gui-wei year. Gui-wei AP (annual pillar) was then forming a negative fu-yin with the gui-wei LP (luck pillar). While looking through his files, his sister saw a police report which confirmed that he indeed had an accident in 2003, along the same LDP, Kelana Jaya road in Kuala Lumpur. In that accident, his car apparently swerved and hit the road divider. He was unharmed but his car sustained some damages. I have enclosed the police report for those of you who can understand the Malay language to see.

Looking back at his natal chart, he has a geng-chen pillar which is a "fui kong" pillar. This gave him the "never say die" attitude whenever he was in the field. A worthy captain of our national hockey team who led by examples. His contributions will always be remembered and we, Malaysians will forever be proud of him. May he rest in peace.

                                    2011 xin-mao year.

This is a very interesting chart of one of the finest American entrepreneur, marketer and inventor of modern times. This is the chart of Steve Jobs, who was the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Apple Inc. Apple Inc. is known for the Apple computers, NeXT computers, Macintosh computers, iMac, iPod and of course the iPhone.

This is a chart of a strong bing DM born in the spring season. His Useful God are the earth stars which are strongly rooted, wu earth with strong roots in wei. This strong output stars gave him the intelligence of an innovator.

However, a strong fire DM does not want the resource stars. His chart has the wood seasonal combo of yin-mao-chen with the yi wood protruding in the year stem. The very strong presence of the wood energy caused the chart to go out of balance and since wood is associated with liver and pancreas, he was diagnosed with the cancer of the pancreas in the year 2003.

In the year 2003, gui-wei year, he entered his gui-you LP. The gui combined with wu earth to form fire stars with the support of the month earthly branch of yin tiger. This combination caused the wu earth, Useful God to disappear and added more fire energy to an already strong fire DM. This further intensified the imbalance of his chart. The disappearance of Useful God normally spells trouble and it was the beginning of his battle with cancer. In 2009, he underwent a liver transplant and in 2011, his positive metal stars fu-yin of xin-mao was badly countered by the presence of the strong negative fire stars and this sadly ended the life of a great inventor of our era.

This is the chart of Andy Lau, who is one of the most accomplished singer and actor in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong media referred him as one of the four cantopop heavenly kings. In 2005, he was awarded "No. 1 Box Office Actor 1985-2005" of Hong Kong, yielding a total box office of HKD1.7 billion.He was ahead of Stephen Chow and Jackie Chan who came in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards both from his singing and acting.

Like the previous one, this is also a very beautiful cai-guan-yin chart. On the stems, he has the ding fire producing the wu earth. Wu earth produces the xin metal and xin metal produces the gui DM. All the stars are also strongly rooted. Ding fire is rooted in wu horse. Wu earth is rooted in chou. Xin metal is rooted in you and the gui water DM is also rooted in hai.

The gui-si LP which began in 1996 was indeed a very good LP for him. In the gui-si LP, there was a metal frame of si-you-chou. Metal star is his positive resource star which represents his support and fans. The gui-si LP also has the gui self star protruding. Gui has strong water roots in hai and this strong water stars gave him the fans and money.

Note : I have chosen the wu horse hour for his time of birth in consideration of his great successes.

This is the chart of the founder of Genting Berhad which is one of the top public listed companies in Malaysia. Genting's core business is the operation of a casino on a mountain top.

This is a special chart and it is known as cai-guan-yin. Cai-guan-yin means wealth-officer-resource. A cai-guan-yin chart has a weak daymaster (DM) with the resource, officer and wealth stars all protruding in the heavenly stems. As in this case, gui water produces jia wood. Jia wood produces ding fire and ding fire produces DM wu earth.

Some students will think that all cai-guan-yin charts must be good charts which are not necessarily so. A top grade cai-guan-yin chart like this one will have all the stars strongly rooted. Ding-si forms a strong block of the fire stars. Jia wood in the chen spring season is very strong and gui-hai with zi give him a very strong water stars.

A cai-guan-yin chart harness wealth through self stars and wealth stars. His strong wealth capacity comes from the strong water stars. Besides this, he also created the water frame of shen-zi-chen. The casino business is the metal industry and so it represents the shen metal while the zi and chen are already in the earthly branches of the natal chart. There are a few water features in the casino to lure the formation of the water frame.

For those students who like to read charts pictorially, then you will love Tan Sri's chart. Wu-zi gives a picture of a mountain above the clouds. Jia-chen gives you all the trees and plants on a beautiful mountain. Ding-si represents the temple he built on the way up the mountain and gui-hai gives us the clouds and water streams.
