He has won many awards besides making lots of money. In 2001, his film Shaolin Soccer grossed over 60 million HK dollars. This film won the best picture award and Stephen Chow also won the best actor and best director awards. Believe it or not, in 2004, his film Kung Fu Hustle won a total of 18 awards.
