My bazi students have requested me to post more charts on the Hong Kong stars. Here is the second one after Andy Lau's chart.
This is the chart of Leslie Cheung who was born on the 12th of September 1956. He was a singer-songwriter, actor, film director, record producer and screenwriter. He had been a teen heartthrob and pop icon in the 80's and was one of the most popular performers in Asia. He had won many awards and recognition both from his singing and acting.
Unfortunately, on the 1st of April 2003, he committed suicide by leaping off from the 24th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in the central district of Hong Kong due to depression. His suicide note was
"Depression! Many thanks to all my friends. Many thanks to Professor Felice Lieh-mak. This year has been so tough. I can't stand it anymore. Many thanks to Mr Tong. Many thanks to my family. Many thanks to Sister Fei. In my life, I have done nothing bad. Why does it have to be like this?"
Depression is the problem of the mind which is ruled by the water stars and so I have chosen ren-zi as the hour pillar. With this, the ren DM is strong and so all the water stars are negative. Since gui inside zi is negative, it becomes the "demon" that caused the depression. From his bazi, his problem could have started in 2001, xin-si year during the xin-chou LP when the 2 xin's doubly combined with the bing, transforming into water stars supported by the you autumn season. Shen-si also transformed into water stars. It is the beginning of his depression problem with very strong presence of water energies in his chart.
In the following year which is 2002, ren-wu year, the ren-wu formed a fu-yin with the day pillar which also amplified the protruding water stars. He actually attempted suicide in 2002 but survived.
He then entered the water protruding ren-yin LP in 2003 which was the gui-wei year. This time, the negative "demon" gui protruded and it proved too much for him.The zi-wei confusion harm added more confusion to his already deluded mind and caused his depression to reach the peak in 2003.
As a general rule, for a strong water DM, his Useful God are the output wood stars. In the ren-yin LP, the shen clashed away the yin which contains his Useful God, jia. Again and again, when the Useful God is clashed or combined away, it can be fatal.

I have successfully counselled people with suicidal depression into full recovery without any medication and the key points are to know
1. that you are not alone,
2. why you are having the depression or "demon" test and
3. how to overcome the "demon" and pass the test.
