It is believed that a good yin house fengshui or grave fengshui is an assurance of good fortune and well being for a family's present and future generations. Recently, I kept seeing charts that have earth clashes affecting the year earthly branch. This is the sign that there is an ancestor grave fengshui problem since the year pillar also represents the ancestor palace.

What can go wrong to a grave that can affect its fengshui?

Well, there can be major and minor cracks at the tombstone. Some masters can tell of these tombstone cracks from a person's forehead. Sometimes, there is water retention problem and worst of all, the grave sank. In one instance, two brothers have earth clashes in their year earthly branches and they found out that their grandmother's grave had sunk. Even after rectification works have been done, problems got worse. So, sometimes rectification works do not necessarily make the fengshui good.

What are the negative effects of a bad yin house fengshui?

Problems, problems and many more problems for the family members. Business failure, major accidents, financial distress, major illnesses, retrenchments, no career breakthrough, calamities, deaths and many more sad events.

How do we really rectify the problem?

We need a good yin house fengshui master to assess the situation and help to restore the good fengshui of the grave. In some cases, it is best that the bones be picked and  cremated. The ashes will then be stored in the urns and placed in a temple or places alike. Remember that no grave fengshui is better than bad grave fengshui.

Below are the examples of the earth clashes affecting the year earthly branch. The first two cases belong to the brothers mentioned above.

The Chinese All Souls' day or "Qing Ming" is just around the corner. Many Chinese will be swarming the graveyards in remembrance of their departed beloved ones as a mark of respect and filial piety. For those involved, please ensure that the graves are in good condition.

It is my intention in this blog to share my BaZi knowledge through case studies using mostly the ZiPing technical method. This technical method stresses on the production and the destruction cycles of the 5 elements namely wood, fire, earth, metal and water. However, in July 2016, I have decided to include the classical method as I believe that the correct approach towards BaZi is to blend both these methods.
