We will continue our search for the Useful god with another case study. Feel free to give a try and please give the reason for your pick.

Updated on 10 August 2016

For those who have participated, I like to thank you for trying. This is a strong ren day master. From the technical reading, his favorable stars are the wood, fire and earth. In finding the Useful god, we need to identify the most important star that helps to maintain the balance of the chart. In this case, the top priority is to control and regulate the flood although it is quite cold out there. So, his Useful god is the wu earth. Since his Useful god is strongly rooted, this chart is quite superior. and in fact, the owner of this chart is a multimillionaire.

Guess when he made his money?

Obviously, at the bing-yin and ding-mao luck pillars when the positive fire wealth stars protruded. His wife is also instrumental in helping him to manage his business. His spouse palace has all the positive stars including wu earth, his Useful god.

As this chart is very cold (Day Master born in a winter night) it needs a temperature regulator. So, UG is Fire.

1st: Bing fire sun to warm the chart because chart is frozen in winter season, and also bing sun is needed by earth for wood to grow.
2nd: Wu yang earth to control the excess water so that Jia wood will not be derooted or float because water is excessive in this chart.
3rd: Jia wood is neutral.

It is my intention in this blog to share my BaZi knowledge through case studies using mostly the ZiPing technical method. This technical method stresses on the production and the destruction cycles of the 5 elements namely wood, fire, earth, metal and water. However, in July 2016, I have decided to include the classical method as I believe that the correct approach towards BaZi is to blend both these methods.
