Strong presence of wood and earth stars and a weak yi day master.

What is her Useful god?

You can give it a try first and scroll down this page for my opinion.

From the technical analysis, this is a weak yi day master because wu-chen month pillar is a strong block of earth stars. So, the resource water stars are useful.

Classical method includes looking at a chart pictorially and also reading by pillars. This chart gives us a picture of many trees and plants in a mountainous environment. It will do good to have more water to make the trees and plants healthy. So, I will say that her Useful god is the ren water.

Hahaha. Finally, I got more participation from you all. I have just given up the idea of asking for your participation.

All bazi students are divided by the ZiPing technical method and the classical method but I believe the best is to blend both the methods. I think I'm giving free publicity to those who are still conducting bazi courses. For those who have attended any bazi course, you should know which is the method you have learnt.

Let's take a look at this case again. Whether this day master is strong or weak, we need the water stars to make the plants and the trees grow healthily. This is classical theory. So, the water stars are his Useful god. Unlike the other elements, gui and ren water are the same thing. Ren water comes from the gui water during rainfalls and gui water comes from ren water upon evaporation. I opted for ren water because the wu-chen mountain earth can contain it.

Anyway, when the water stars protrude, they must be protected by the metal stars. Otherwise, the strong earth stars will counter it. This is technical theory. So, it is bad if the water stars protrude without protection. Geng metal will be better because it can also help to shape the block of jia-yin wood. Besides, when there are many self stars, we need the officer stars to control it, especially controlling the RW star.

Another point to note is that when a Useful god is not present in the natal chart, it does not mean that it cannot be the Useful god. Remember that the Useful god can still appear in the luck pillar. A superior chart normally has strongly rooted Useful god that are also protected.

Now, for the technical people, we take the chen as the earth month and not the wood month because the yi wood are buried deeply under a strong block of earth. So, from the ZiPing criterion, this is a weak yi day master. Actually, the technical method is much easier to use. A weak day master harnesses wealth through self stars So, there are opportunities to make money but in partnership, she needs to take control because there is no metal star to control the RW star. This means she cannot be a sleeping partner or it will be disastrous. A weak day master loses money when meeting with the wealth stars. So, any risky speculation is definitely out.

Lwee,
Wouldn't Gui water representing rain be appropriate for growth of plants rather than Ren water which is ocean water? Ren water is not found in chart whereas gui is in Chen. Hope to understand better with your explanation. Tqvm.
I am really enjoying these lessons from you.

How can it be weak day master if all spring season is present, and the earth of dragon is wet earth which helps grows as well as the presence of bing creates favourable conditions.

I arrived at the same conclusion that more water is required, but I would have gone for Gui water as the Useful God because there is no Ren in the chart, and wood daymasters prefer the rain of Gui. Is there a mistake in my logic?

Gui, geng and ding will be favorable.
I would use gui as UG...to moisten earth and add some resource to this strong but dry DM.

Ok, primary Useful god is gui and secondary Useful god is geng.

Lwee,
In this case there is no Geng metal star revealed. So when UG water star appears in the stem of LP or AP, then it will be countered by the strong earth pillar of Wu-Chen. Hence can I conclude that this UG water star is unable to balance the chart as it should be?
Another point to ponder is Geng metal can combine away the Yi Daymaster!

When the Useful god water resource stars protrude and being countered by the negative wealth, the owner can lose money. Geng is her husband star and can also be found in the sub qi of si which is also in the spouse palace. So, in practical, her husband can help her to prevent any pitfalls.

It is my intention in this blog to share my BaZi knowledge through case studies using mostly the ZiPing technical method. This technical method stresses on the production and the destruction cycles of the 5 elements namely wood, fire, earth, metal and water. However, in July 2016, I have decided to include the classical method as I believe that the correct approach towards BaZi is to blend both these methods.
