This is a weak jia day master. Since the resource water stars are in the stems, the metal officer stars are also positive. So, his positive stars are the wood, water and metal stars. As far as balance is concerned, this chart is quite favorable. His positive luck pillars will begin from the geng-xu luck pillar until the jia-yin luck pillar. Among these 5 positive luck pillars, which is the best?

I will rule out xin-hai and jia-yin luck pillars. The hai will clash with the si and harm the three shen stars. In the jia-yin luck pillar, there will triple shen-yin clash and three sets of shen-yin-si ungrateful punishments.

I will not choose ren-zi luck pillar either because from the classical analysis, when the water stars are too strong and without wu earth to control them, the jia and yi will be swept away. The jia and yi are not rooted in mao or yin tiger and they are also not strongly grounded in the earth stars.

Gui-chou luck pillar is quite favorable but I will choose geng-xu as his best luck pillar because

1. in the summer season, metal stars are supposed to be dead. So, when geng protrudes, the metal stars come alive.             However, the geng with triple roots inside the shen stars will affect the quality of the 7K stars.
2. the xu has no negative relationships with shen and si.
3. the timing of this geng-xu luck pillar is quite favorable. When positive 7K protrudes in his late forties, there will be                 opportunities for promotion to some senior positions.

It is my intention in this blog to share my BaZi knowledge through case studies using mostly the ZiPing technical method. This technical method stresses on the production and the destruction cycles of the 5 elements namely wood, fire, earth, metal and water. However, in July 2016, I have decided to include the classical method as I believe that the correct approach towards BaZi is to blend both these methods.
