This ji day master is a weak one. From the technical analysis, for a weak day master, when the resource and officer stars are in the stems, the wealth stars are also positive. This means that technically speaking, only the metal stars are negative in this chart. Since the wealth star is in the month branch, we can consider him as born in the door of wealth.

From the classical analysis, he is born in the cold winter afternoon and so, the bing which represents the sun is very important and useful. Not only it provides warmth in a cold winter afternoon, it also helps to melt the ice of the zi month. So, the water can help to nourish the jia-yin which represents the trees. This chart is quite good as long as balance is concerned. However, trees in the winter are not as beautiful as when they are in the spring. This affects the quality of the DO stars. The jia wood, DO star in the year stem is also countered by the geng. Remember that when the bazi is seen as a cylinder, then the year and hour pillars are considered as side by side.

In his present geng-chen luck pillar with negative geng protruding, there are still opportunities to make money because zi and chen are half combo of water frame. Besides, chen is the storage of water stars.

Some of you might choose ren-wu or gui-wei as his best luck pillar because his favorable water wealth star protrudes and will be rooted in zi. I will not do so because in the ren-wu luck pillar, there will be a wu-wu self punishment and the zi-wu clash. On top of that, the wu-chou harm will be activated. In the gui-wei luck pillar, there will be a chou-wei clash and zi-wei harm. So, I have chosen wu-yin as his best luck pillar because

1. the wu earth is his favorable self star since this is a weak day master.
2. the yin tiger also forms a half positve fire combo with the wu horse.
3. the yin tiger does not have any negative relationships with zi and chou.

The part that I don't like to see in this chart is the zi-chou water contamination and the wu-chou harm. So, he needs to detox for better health.

I have received more than 40 requests already. So, please be patient.

Isn't the present luck pillar Geng-Chen, and not Geng-zi??

It is my intention in this blog to share my BaZi knowledge through case studies using mostly the ZiPing technical method. This technical method stresses on the production and the destruction cycles of the 5 elements namely wood, fire, earth, metal and water. However, in July 2016, I have decided to include the classical method as I believe that the correct approach towards BaZi is to blend both these methods.
