Effect of Negative Bing-Shen Fu-Yin

February, 2016
This is the chart a 54 year-old lady who is suffering from the effect of the negative bing-shen fu-yin. In late February 2016, she had a terrible accident and up to now she is still in a coma. She was riding a motorbike when a car in front of her stopped suddenly. She slammed into the car and fell, injuring her head as her helmet broke.

This is a strong ding fire day master. So, the bing-shen fu-yin between her luck pillar and the annual pillar is a negative one. If you have learnt ZiPing bazi method, you will know that this lady is in her last year of her bing-shen luck pillar. I have found out time and again that this luck pillar theory of the ZiPing bazi is correct. Many bazi students are still uncertain as to when luck pillars commence and end.

This unfortunate accident occurred in the geng-yin month. There are 2 shens clashing the yin and the shen-yin clash is also known as the accident clash.

Just a reminder. There will be a bing-shen fu-yin in August 2016 between the month and year pillars. If fire stars are negative in your chart, you need to be careful, especially if you have yin tiger in your natal chart or your luck pillar.

I have brought her family members to pray to Kuan Yin and the Earth Store Bodhisattva because xin-mao and xin-chou in her natal chart represent both these Bodhisattva. May Kuan Yin and the Earth Store Bodhisattva have mercy on her and let her recovers quickly. We still await a miracle.

Thanks a lot for your highly informational and eye-opening Bazi analyses as usual Master Lwee.

It'd be great if you can elaborate on why xin-mao represents Kuan Yin. Also, are there pillars that represent Samantabhadra and Manjusri Bodhisattva as well?

Regards,
Tom

I read xin as representing compassion. So, all Bodhiasattvas are represented by the beautiful xin metal. As explained before, xin-chou represents the Earth Store Bodhisattva. Guess what is in the vase held by Bodhisattva Kuan Yin? A willow, which is represented by yi wood inside mao.

As for the other Bodhisattvas, see what they are holding.

Thanks for your explanation Master Lwee. I wasn't sure because the only relationship between xin and mao that I can see is money (mao to xin) and power (xin to mao), which doesn't seem to fit the description of Bodhisattva Kuan Yin.

I guess Manjusri Bodhisattva can be represented by Xin-You (you is his shining sword), but not so sure about Samantabhadra since it's common to see Samantabhadra Bodhisattva holding a lotus, a wish-fulfilling jewel, or a scroll bearing the sutra (scripture). Still, to me Xin-Hai is more aptly fit than Xin-Si or Xin-Wei.

Hi Lwee,
what is the effect of a strong Bing DM having a negative yin tiger being clashed by a positive Shen monkey? It should be good since yin is negative resource. Hence should he fear the Yin-Shen clash?

As always I look forward to your next post n learning more. Tq.

Hi Penny,

It's always about positive energies and negative energies. There's no doubt that it is good when a positive star clashes away a negative star but there are 2 sets of shen-yin-si ungrateful punishments. Besides, the yin is harming the 2 si stars and one of them is in the day earthly branch which represents the body. Of course, the main culprit is the negative bing-shen fu-yin which brought about the sad event. As you already knew, the negative bing stars also represent the "demons". The negative energies are just overwhelming.

Hi Tom,

The spiritual aspect of a chart is just another layer in bazi. Anything in bazi can be good to certain charts and bad to others. Here, we are talking about the spiritual aspect of xin-mao. Generally, xin being a beautiful yin stem also represents the female deities.

If we are talking about the 10 gods, then xin-mao day pillar in a male's chart with a weak xin day master can be bad.

So, we still have to read a chart in entirety to know what is positive and what is negative.

It is my intention in this blog to share my BaZi knowledge through case studies using mostly the ZiPing technical method. This technical method stresses on the production and the destruction cycles of the 5 elements namely wood, fire, earth, metal and water. However, in July 2016, I have decided to include the classical method as I believe that the correct approach towards BaZi is to blend both these methods.
