I have received a few requests to do the chart of Dato' Lee Chong Wei who is the badminton ace of Malaysia. Dato' Lee was born on the 21st of October in 1982.
His chart is that of a weak ding DM. If you learn ZiPing bazi, you will know that the water stars can only be positive if there is a wood star in the stem. He has achieved much success in the ren-zi and the present gui-chou LP. So, his hour pillar should either be jia-chen or yi-si. I have chosen jia-chen as the jia in the stem gives us the image of a racket.
This chart falls into the special category of cai-guan-yin. Geng metal produces ren water, ren water produces jia wood and jia wood produces the ding fire DM. The only set back is that the jia wood has no strong root as there is no wood star in the earthly branches except for yi, which is in the sub qi of chen. However, he positive geng wealth star is very strong since he was born in the autumn metal season. So, he should be reasonably rich.
Dato' Lee's chart too has a fui-kong pillar of geng-xu. The fui-kong pillar gives him the attitude of a war general. It is very favorable for any sportsman of world class level to have a fui-kong pillar. It gives them the fighting spirit and the never-say-die attitude. The other 3 fui-kong pillars are geng-chen, ren-chen and wu-xu.
A cai-guan-yin chart is a very favorable chart since the only negative star is the output star. So, Dato' Lee will have many good LPs as the metal, water, wood and fire stars protrude. All his negative output earth stars are in the earthly branches. These earth stars of chen, chou and xu are all at odds with each other and they can give rise to some problems regarding human relationships.
